Like all our services, a water line tap allows work to be performed on a single home while the rest of the block continues to function.

Taps allow you to connect to the city water lines and expand your water main size, with no outages. A tap enables you to install new fire hydrants, bypass specified areas of construction or work on a single home without disturbing running water in any nearby homes.

There is a major misconception as to what controls the volume and pressure of the water in a single home. The average homeowner believes if they increase the size of the pipe coming off of the city water main they will resolve all water pressure issues they may have experienced. It is the size of your tap that controls the actual volume and pressure of the water running in your house. New taps are installed by the NYC DEP after the proper permits are obtained by a NYC licensed plumber.

If you have any questions regarding your tap or water pressure give us a call at 877-421-1142 or complete our <a

Water main breaks can have a large impact on the pressure and quality of water coming into your home. There are several variables as to why a water main service may break, a few of the most common are a change in temperature which may have an impact on the inside or outside of the water main pipe causing a fracture or break in the pipe.

New York City department of Environmental Protection (DEP) experiences 500+ water line breaks per year. The severity of each break ranges from a small leak dripping every few hours to an emergency break where the water is uncontrollable; a licensed plumber must be contacted to turn the water off in the street. If a moderate to severe break is not attended to in a short period of time the result may be water leaking in a neighbor’s home, damage to the street and sidewalk and if serious enough the entire street may be shut down.

In the event that you notice water seeping through your sidewalk, street or front yard you should call 311 immediately. It is highly recommended that you call 311 to inspect the area especially if you suspect a potentially dangerous situation as they have tendencies to turn from bad to worst in a short period of time

Give one of our specialist a call at 877-421-1142 or complete our <a

The homeowner highers our company to repair the pipe where the Harris employees working on the job realize the water leak is coming from another water service in the surrounding area. It is our responsibility to notify DEP immediately and wait for them to come arrive at the job site to investigate that the information we have provided is correct.
