Water Main or Sewer Repair Requires Concrete Restoration

In many cases when you are required to have a water main or sewer repair the public sidewalk is excavated, as part of the installation process. It is common to question who is going to restore the concrete as well as when will the concrete be restored.

In most cases our in house concrete restoration crew will perform the final restoration of the public sidewalk unless other arrangements have been made. A few other reasons we would not restore the concrete is if we are working for new construction project, working for a third party insurance company that does not cover the cost of concrete restoration or if another contractor is restoring.

The time schedule tends to differ pending the time of year as it is not best practice to restore concrete in freezing weather conditions. We also base our restoration pending routing and other locations that require restoration in a specific area. In some cases this may work in your favor if we are already scheduled to be in your area the next day.
